Healthy Raw Date Brownies

Healthy Date Dessert Recipes With Nutritious Ingredients

It’s always great when you come across a raw vegan recipe that doesn’t require any cooking, and this is exactly one of them! These healthy date dessert brownies do not require any form of baking. The sticky consistency of the dates will hold these nutty date brownies together.

Healthy and Raw Date Brownies

Not much is required to make these delicious date brownies. Just allow a little time to let them sit in the fridge before serving.

Yield: 12 servings | Prep time: 1 Hour 10 Mins | Cook time: 0 Mins

Ingredients: 1 cup almonds | 1 cup walnuts | 1 cup fresh soft medjool dates, pitted | 2 teaspoons vanilla extract | 1/4 cup good quality cocoa powder | sea salt

Procedure: Mix the nuts together and chop roughly and then combine together with the dates, vanilla extract cocoa and salt using a food processor. If the mixture is too dry, put in a few tablespoons of orange or lemon juice. The brownie should hold when pressed together. Press into a baking tin lined with greaseproof paper. If you wish to add a frosting to this naturally sweet date dessert, you can combine 1/2 cup of macadamia nut butter with 1/2 cup of  dates and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and a pinch of salt in a processor until blended, then spoon over the brownies before putting them in the fridge for an hour.
